Presentation: A Trauma-Informed Approach to the Workplace: Best Practices for Supporting Employees Recovering from Trauma
Objectives:
- Provide overview of trauma-related conditions, including PTSD and moral injury, and the trauma recovery process
- Discuss available literature on trauma responses, co-occurring conditions, and recovery
- Introduce a trauma-informed approach to the workplace
- Explore workplace factors that can impact trauma recovery
- Discuss best practices for supporting trauma-exposed employees
