Disability:IN Minnesota offers a comprehensive set of membership benefits to support employers and providers in their disability inclusion efforts.  Disability:IN Minnesota promotes disability inclusion by heightening awareness, advising members, and sharing proven strategies for including people with disabilities in the workplace, supply chain and marketplace. We expand opportunities for people with disabilities by helping companies invigorate their disability initiatives, explore best practices, drive cultural transformation and realize positive business outcomes.

Disability:IN Minnesota members are local businesses, organizations, agencies and institutions that see the value in building and integrating disability inclusion into their broader diversity and inclusion goals. They benefit from the program’s local efforts to build a vibrant, collaborative, peer-to-peer network of Minnesota business partners working to expand their organizations’ disability inclusion efforts. Disability:IN Minnesota creates connections to resources, networking opportunities, and programs that equip its business partners to better attract, hire and retain people with disabilities in their workforce.

Best Buy

Best BuyBest Buy chose to become a member of Disability:IN Minnesota because the organization’s values and services align perfectly with the mission statement and aspirations of our disABILITIES ERG – to promote Best Buy as a company that welcomes those with disabilities in its role as employer, retailer and community partner. Already members of the Disability:IN national organization, we strove to better reflect the communities we serve by joining the Minnesota affiliate, which would enable us to be even more effective within the Twin Cities. In our first year as members, we have already immensely enjoyed the benefits of community networking with disability-inclusive organizations and other companies’ Employee Resource Groups, in addition to the monthly member meetings which are both engaging and informative, but also topical. We would highly recommend companies at every stage of their ERG or inclusion journey to leverage the extensive resources and partnership Disability:IN Minnesota provides.
